These are Caravan Club sites we have visited and recommend.
SHEEPCOTE VALLEY BRIGHTON
Site just below horse racing circuit, nice walk to Marine shopping area with nice fish and chip shop also many nice restaurants. Also can bike on downs.
FERRY MEADOWS PETERBOROUGH
Located in Country Park with steam trains, lake, cycling and walking trails. Also course fishing and golfing.
Station just outside site ideal for Peterborough.
STROUD HILL PARK ST.IVES HUNTINGDON. *****!
Adult only site very quiet and situated in ancient bluebell woodland on a 150 acre family farm. There is fishing and tennis on site and 18 golf course next door. Several public walkways linking other villages. Plenty of cycling rides even to Huntingdon which has a nice shopping area. It is also the place where Oliver Cromwell lived and went to school.
It has a superb barn restaurant and the food is all local produce. It has received AA Award of 2008 and has also appeared in Michelin Food Guide.
MORETON-IN-MARSH GLOUCESTERSHIR
Excellent facilities, site within walking distance of lovely market town of Moreton-in marsh.
Set in Cotswold countryside, many pubs, restaurants and cafes can be reached on foot from site.
THE SANDRINGHAM ESTATE NORFOLK.
Site in Royal Estate, plenty of places to cycle and walk and not far from Sandringham House and gardens.
Hunstanton is not far away and there is a lovely coastal route passing many pretty villages.
Also Kings Lynn is about 6 miles away where there are many shops on an industrial area, such as Next etc, restaurants and many more.
MILESTONE PARK NEWARK NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
Small level site surrounding fishing lake with ducks, geese etc. Plenty of walks and cycle rides. Lowdhams just down the road about 15 miles.
CLUMBER PARK WORKSOP NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
Site set in 4000 acres of parkland. Plenty of walks and cycle tracks. Only problem is no mobile phone network but is phone box on site, also TV poor but boosters available. It does have WiFi internet access.
In walk and cycling distance there is the Sherwood Visitors centre. It is a lovely area to just walk and relax.
BLADON CHAINS WOODSTOCK OXFORDSHIRE
Situated on Blenheim Estate, plenty of walks and cycling in area. Sir Winston Churchill and many of family buried in church grounds of Bladon, well worth a visit. Blenheim Palace was were Sir Winston Churchill was born.
CIRENCESTER PARK GLOUCESTERSHIRE
Set in parkland forming part of Bathurst Estate. Able to walk or cycle into Cirencester, it was the second largest town in England during Roman occupation. It is now a thriving market town with many interesting places to visit.
NORTH LEDAIG OBAN
Located on West coast of Scotland, not far from Oban, very well laid out side overlooking Ardmucknish Bay, very quiet and relaxing site.All pitches face sea and enjoy panoramic view towards Isle of Mull.

GELDERWOOD COUNTRY PARK NR ROCHDALE
Situated between the River Naden and Cheeseden Brook and 1/4 of a mile from Ashworth.
Within walking distance of many restaurants. Ideal spot for exploring Lancashire and Yorkshire.
One lane road to site going up windy hillside, but with care should be no problem.
MOORVIEW TOURING PARK MODBURY DEVON
Nice site ideal for Dartmoor. WiFi internet access. Very narrow road from main road but with care should be no problem. You will pass very nice Inn called the California Inn food is very good.

Guided bus to Cambridge due to open Aug 2011 which is about 1 1/4 miles from site.
