All members of Carthago Owners UK are welcome to this annual National meeting of Carthago Kreis.
A full itinerary is shown below.
We are told that the meeting coincides with the dates of the Tall Ships Race.

Carthago Kreis Meeting - KEIL
Dates: 11th – 15th July 2012
Address: 24159 KIEL-SCHILKSEE, SOLING
GPS Co-ordinates: E 10° 9’ 58” and N 54° 25’ 50”
Directions: A7 toward Flensburg, then the A215 toward Kiel, take B 76 and B 503 toward Olympia Center, Schilksee. Shortly before you arrive please follow the signs ‘Carthago Kreis’.
FOOD As this meeting is in northern Germany there will be fish to eat. If you do not eat fish then you need to advise the organisers beforehand and alternative meals will be made available for you.
ELECTRICITY. Hook up for each vehicle will be made available but maximum 4 amps.
TOILETS & SHOWERS. In the Olympia Centre toilet and shower facilities are available. These will be accessed by a Smart card which will be issued to you upon arrival. There will be a returnable deposit of €10 payable for your Smart card. The showers require a token to operate. These tokens will be available from the organisers and will cost €1 each. The toilets in the Vaasahalle are only opened only during the meetings!!
Fresh water and dump facilities will be available on site.
BOOKING The deadline for applications is the 30th April 2012.
Bookings made after 30th April will probably incur additional parking charges of €12 per day as they will not be included in the original contact numbers.
HARBOUR TOURS From 12th to 14th July there are scheduled a number of harbour tours on the Ferry boat. (see itinerary below). Participants will be split into groups and the names must be given to the ferry company for each group one week prior. You will need to take your passport as ID when you join the boat. Each day there will be 4 groups of 30. The harbour trip will only run on 14th if there are more than 240 participants.
I T I N E R A R Y Wednesday, 11th July Arrivals and allocation of parking bay. Receipt of the documentation. 18:00 Welcome Reception in the ‘Vaasahall’. There is fish in all kinds of variations with rolls, potato or noodle salad. (If you do not eat fish an alternative can be made available with prior notice to the organisers) Beverages available – pay as you go. Bring your own. Plates, glasses and cutlery.
Thursday, 12th July From 07:00 Breakfast roll service (2 rolls per person) 09:15 Tour 1 (in accordance with group organization) departure with the bus for the Harbour Tour on Color LINE of ferry boat. Duration of the tour approx. 2 hrs 10:15 Tour 2 (in accordance with group organization) departure with the bus to the Harbour Tour (Hafenrundfahrt). Duration of the tour approx. 2 hrs After the Harbour Tours you are free to explore the city of Keil. There is no common return trip to Schilksee. The time of the return to Schilksee with the regular bus 501/502 is left to everyone. The price of transportation is €2,30 per person. There are no formal plans for the evening but The Vaasahalle is open. Beverages are poured out. Note: On Thursday afternoon there is a demonstration of bicycles by ‘ e-Bikes’.
Friday, 13th July From 07:00 Breakfast roll service (2 rolls per person) 09:15 Tour 3 (in accordance with group organization) departure with the bus for the Harbour Tour on Color LINE of ferry boat. Duration of the tour approx. 2 hrs 10:15 Tour 4 (in accordance with group organization) departure with the bus for the Harbour Tour on Color LINE of ferry boat. Duration of the tour approx. 2 hrs Same return arrangements as Thursday. Note: Carthago Kreis will hold their AGM at 15:30 19:00 meeting in the Vaasahalle to The Cosy Gathering. There are Gulasch with supplements. Beverages available – pay as you go. Bring your own. Plates, glasses and cutlery. Music by "CARTHAGOS".
Saturday, 14th July From 07:00 Breakfast roll service (2 rolls per person) Optional: Wheather permitting. A cycle tour around Skattunier. If you wish you can take a dip in the Baltic Sea! 10:00 to 13:00 there will be a FLEA MARKET in the Vaasahalle. 18:30 in the Vaasahalle for the Gala Evening with Buffet. Music by "CARTHAGOS". Beverages available – pay as you go.
